We are going to record a song! We'll use garageband to mix it, and you will record your part and send it to me!
Here is the place for the resources for our collaboration project. We will be recording song(s) in parts, and will be submitting them to get mixed together.

Give Us Hope
Here are the files you will need to record your part. Use your music to sing it to. You will find a piano only copy that you can record with, as well as copies with your part sung along (done by a cheesy computer "ah" sound- it's terrible, but it gives you the notes).

- Practice and record your part
- When you record your part, use headphones to listen to the track, and so it will not get recorded on the audio of your track.
- Send in the recording by using the hand in link above.
- Put together the song- how do we want to make the song sound?
- Do we want to add more effects/sounds?
- What do we want to add for the background?
- Mix the song (done by me) on garage band.
Give Us Hope tracks
Here is Give Us Hope. There are a few parts in the song that have no accompaniment. There is a click going during those times to help you stay on track.
In the parts specific files, you'll hear the part indicated sung in the song. have the parts highlighted for you to practice with. Sing along with your part, and make sure you are listening and matching the notes in your line. The files are mp3 files, so they should work on your devices.
Once you try it a couple of times, record yourself singing it. Send it using the link at the top of the page.
NOTE: At the end of the song, it slows down, and the last "show you the way" is a quarter note triplet (even slower). I put a click on the three words. Try to sing your last three words with those clicks.
